Our School is Changing & Saving Lives!
By participating in Kids Heart Challenge, our students will learn how to keep their hearts, bodies and brains healthy while helping kids with special hearts live longer, healthier lives.
It's a fun and meaningful way for our students to learn lifelong habits of health and helping others, while supporting and earning rewards for our school.
Join us in spreading kindness, building healthy habits, and making a lasting difference. Together, we can create a healthier future, one heart at a time.

Enjoy your Winter Break!

Just a quick reminder as we transition to colder weather, we've seen many lovely coats and jackets in our Lost & Found. Please help us by labeling your child's outerwear with their name.
Also, a friendly reminder to ensure they are wearing their warm coat, hat, and gloves to school daily for recess! Our goal is to have outdoor recess whenever possible, as fresh air and activity are great for our students.

Each year, we partner with West High to develop and create personal relationships between WHS athletes and performers and elementary students. WHS Leaders become role models to the younger students, emphasizing leadership, hard work, decision making, and academics during their visits. Each month, a different team of leaders will visit a WHS elementary feeder building, taking their personal trading cards emphasizing the The 7 Habits of Happy Kids. Leaders for the 2025-26 school year attended a ceremony during which their habit was revealed and they received a copy of their trading card. Thirty-five WHS students are serving as Leader in Me Leaders this school year. Last week we had 21 students visit PPE to pass out their kids and talk to the students. Starting in January a different group of West High leaders will visit the kids during lunch once a month.

Join us next week, Dec 9, for Dine-to-Donate night at Freddy's from 5-9pm
