DESE’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Advisory Council is asking students, parents, business leaders, and educators to take five minutes to share your general perceptions of CTE programs in Missouri. Your responses will be kept confidential and will be aggregated with other responses to help the Council better understand how stakeholders see CTE in Missouri. Our GATE classes collected items to create “Birthday Bags” for the Oasis Food Pantry. Items they collected were cake mixes, birthday plates, napkins, icing, etc. The students were thrilled to have received such an enormous amount of items. The Science Bowl team did well at the Missouri Regional competition on Saturday, March 4, winning 3 out of 5 matches. The Science Bowl Team members are, Zain Hahn, Zaid Idrees, Lydia Utz, Dawson Sampson and Colten Mechlin. Their teacher is Mrs. Black.

Maya Babb NJHS President and Lillian Ohlms NJHS Secretary, announce that 7th grade NJHS applications are now available March 6-16.

NJHS applications will be available in the 7th grade office and room 208 starting Monday, March 6, 2023. The applications will be accepted from Monday, March 6th through Thursday, March 16th. Applicants will be notified after spring break if they are accepted.
