DMS logoHello! My name is Joe Hallemeier and I am very excited to be joining the DuBray team. I earned my bachelor’s degree from University of Missouri-Columbia in Special Education, and completed my administration coursework at Lindenwood University.  I come from a family of career educators in the public education setting, and I grew up understanding the importance that a positive educational experience can have on a child. I have two wonderful brothers, one in Boston and one in St. Louis. My wife, Madeline, and I have been married for 2 years and we have two adorable little French Bulldogs. Away from school, I enjoy taking my dogs on walks around the neighborhood and going to sporting events with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling with my wife and starting (but not always completing) various different projects around the house

headshot Hallemeier I chose to be involved in public education from an early age as both of my parents were teachers in the St. Charles School District. My mother was a Special Education teacher for 29 years, and my father was a middle school guidance counselor for the majority of his career. I grew up in their classrooms as they finished up their classes, so the school setting feels very comfortable and “at-home” for me. I spent my teaching career as a Special Education teacher in the St. Charles School District at Jefferson Intermediate School (the same school both my parents taught at) with a focus in Mathematics.
